Description

You will manage and optimize mainframe network communication components, security protocols, and 24x7 on-call support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Communication Server components including VTAM, TCP/IP, and FTP.
• Configure and maintain AT-TLS, Policy Agent, and OMPROUTE.
• Administer RACF and ICSF security configurations.
• Perform network optimization using VIPA, Enterprise Extender, OSA, and Sysplex Distributor.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and manage certificate handling.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe network systems programming.
• Deep expertise with VTAM and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with AT-TLS and Policy Agent.
• Proficiency with FTP and OMPROUTE.
• Experience managing RACF and ICSF.
• Knowledge of ISV products and certificate handling.
• Experience managing ciphers.
• Familiarity with VIPA, Enterprise Extender, OSA, and Sysplex Distributor.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to support 24x7 on-call rotations effectively.
