Description

Monitor mainframe control consoles to ensure optimal system performance and service availability. Act as the Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents, including creating, escalating, triaging, and tracking technology-related events. Collaborate with internal IT teams, customers, and vendors to drive issue resolution. Assist in the review and validation of mainframe Job Control Language (JCL) and perform assigned operational delivery tasks. Utilize monitoring tools to track infrastructure health and connectivity. Work in rotational shifts, covering holidays, weekends, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mainframe consoles and infrastructure for optimal performance.

• Use monitoring tools to track system availability and connectivity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe operations or similar technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe systems.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as What’s Up Gold, Pingdom, or PRTG.
• Basic understanding of JCL (Job Control Language).
• Knowledge of incident management processes and tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills using Microsoft Teams.
