Description

You will implement coding changes and system modifications within Medicaid services environments. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement coding changes to COBOL and ADS programs based on technical and design specifications.
• Debug, unit test, and perform integration testing on all code changes.
• Support Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, and external testing teams by resolving issues through code updates.
• Collaborate with Medicaid MMIS and MEDS teams to deliver technical requirements.
• Communicate technical updates and progress through written and oral channels.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in computer system development and modification.
• Proficiency in MVS COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with IDMS/Network database management.
• Hands-on experience with CA-ADS.
• Familiarity with Changeman for change management.
• Mainframe development background.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.

Preferred Skills

• Medicaid/MMIS domain knowledge.
• Experience with SAS and File-Aid.
