Description

You will lead development and maintenance of mainframe applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle for mainframe projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, enforcing standards and ensuring deliverable quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across core mainframe technologies.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in mainframe Cobol programming language.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe Db2, Vsam, and JCL.
• Experience with mainframe CICS in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and system software.
• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities for technical team guidance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a demanding environment.
