Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications for corporate or government environments.

Responsibilities

• Expose COBOL programs as web services using CICS Transaction Server (CTS) and CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG).
• Manage full lifecycle programming including analysis, design, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Analyze and modify financial processes to meet specific business requirements.
• Resolve highly complex technical problems through systematic analysis.
• Collaborate with diverse project teams involving business, management, and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of overall professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a programmer analyst in corporate or government settings.
• 5+ years of experience exposing CICS and COBOL programs via CTS and CTG.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, CICS, TSO, MVS, JCL, ENDEVOR, and CA Tools.
• Experience with SQL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, planning, and scheduling abilities.
