Description

You will design, develop, and implement mainframe applications within the full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using host technologies on MVC platforms.
• Implement software solutions following SDLC methodologies.
• Manage code through the full implementation lifecycle.
• Work within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development environments.

Required Skills

• 7-8+ years of experience in Mainframe programming.
• Proficiency in PL/I and IMS.
• Strong experience with COBOL and DB2 as an alternative to PL/I and IMS.
• Ability to learn and work on PL/I and IMS if coming from a COBOL/DB2 background.
• Hands-on experience with JCL.
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes.
• Experience working in Scrum or Waterfall project models.

• Effective communication skills for technical collaboration.
