Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise mainframe applications. You will own the full lifecycle of batch and online systems, from detailed analysis to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support software releases in production environments using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity production issues by identifying root causes and implementing technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough unit, functional, and regression testing to ensure data security and integrity across applications.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support continuous improvement of existing systems.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of software development experience in enterprise-level, business-critical applications.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, SQL, and IBM debuggers.
• Proficiency with IBM Utilities, FileAid, Endevor, schedulers, and I/O modules.
• Experience performing detailed system analysis and hands-on problem solving for maintenance and enhancement projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs in a regulated environment.
