Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise mainframe applications across the full lifecycle of batch and online systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support software releases in production using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity production issues by identifying root causes.
• Conduct unit, functional, and regression testing to ensure data security and integrity.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of software development experience in enterprise-level, business-critical applications.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, SQL, and IBM debuggers.
• Proficiency with IBM Utilities, FileAid, Endevor, schedulers, and I/O modules.
• Experience performing detailed system analysis and hands-on problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
