Description

You will develop, debug, and maintain mainframe applications within a large corporate environment, managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your work ensures operational stability through rigorous design, testing, and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mainframe applications to ensure system stability.
• Maintain and debug code using modern programming and database querying languages.
• Implement agile methodologies, including CI/CD workflows and security protocols.
• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for mainframe systems.
• Ensure application resiliency and adherence to operational standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in system design and application development.
• Proficiency in IBM-Z/OS COBOL.
• Experience with CICS, IMS DB/DC, and DB2.
• Practical knowledge of VSAM and JCL.
• Working experience with CA7 and Changeman/Endevor mainframe application development suites.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and agile workflows.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Demonstrated work experience with AWS.
