You will manage complex mainframe projects from initiation through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, define scope, set timelines, and manage resources.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with defined plans and timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, maintain communication channels, and address concerns.
• Drive process improvements and implement change management best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in zOS and AS400 mainframe operating systems.
• Strong working knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and REXX.
• Proficiency in ITIL principles.
• Experience managing large-scale projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs.
• Experience in risk management and vendor relationship management.
• Strong team leadership skills to guide technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DB2, IMS, Oracle, or MySQL database management.
