Description

You will manage mainframe projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, define scope, set timelines, and manage resources for large-scale initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify potential risks, and build mitigation strategies.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to defined plans and timelines.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication channels across all levels.
• Assess mainframe migration impacts on existing processes and drive change management.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in project management, including team leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in zOS and AS400 mainframe operating systems.
• Strong working knowledge of COBOL, JCL, REXX, and SAS.
• Experience with IBM Mainframe and Broadcom technologies.
• Proven ability in risk management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with vendor relationship management and ITIL practices.
• Bachelor’s degree (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DB2, IMS, Oracle, or MySQL in mainframe environments.
