Description

You will ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe and web applications through rigorous testing and data validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Validate data accuracy within DB2 environments using SQL queries.
• Log and track defects in Jira, performing root cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Develop detailed test data based on specific application requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and present test results and metrics.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in QA testing.
• Proficiency with SQL and data validation techniques.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Hands-on experience using Jira for defect tracking.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with mainframe testing tools.
• Experience with automation testing.
