Description

You will ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe systems and applications through rigorous testing and analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Develop detailed test cases and test data based on specific requirements.
• Execute tests within mainframe environments and validate data accuracy in DB2.
• Log, track defects, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present test results and metrics.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Mainframe QA activities.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Experience working with large data sets, data validation, and SQL queries.
• Experience using JIRA for test management.
• Familiarity with mainframe automation testing tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
