Description

You will ensure the quality and accuracy of mainframe-based systems supporting healthcare operations, claims, eligibility, and member data.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of mainframe healthcare applications, including functional, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Analyze healthcare business requirements to create test cases and scenarios for claims, enrollment, and provider data.
• Validate batch processing, online transactions, data feeds, and HIPAA-compliant data handling.
• Execute data validation using DB2 and SQL.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution while providing test execution reports and metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Mainframe QA and testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience with DB2.
• Domain knowledge in healthcare systems, specifically Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, or Member data.
• Experience with batch and online testing.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
• Proficiency with ALM, Quality Center, or JIRA.
