Description

You will own manual testing for Mainframe healthcare applications, translating business requirements into test cases and executing functional, system, regression, and UAT cycles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, system, regression, and UAT testing for claims, eligibility, enrollment, provider, and member data.
• Validate batch processing, online transactions, and data feeds using DB2 and SQL.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution while preparing execution reports and metrics.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and healthcare SMEs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Mainframe QA or testing experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and DB2 interaction.
• Experience testing in the healthcare domain (Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, Member systems).
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with ALM, Quality Center, or JIRA for defect tracking.
• Proven track record in Agile or Waterfall environments.
