Description

You will perform quality assurance for mainframe healthcare applications, owning the manual testing lifecycle from requirements analysis to defect resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare business requirements and translate them into detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Execute functional, system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for mainframe applications.
• Validate batch processing, online transactions, and data feeds for accuracy and integrity.
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using issue tracking tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Mainframe QA or testing experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Proficient SQL skills for complex data validation queries.
• Experience in the Healthcare domain, specifically Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, and Member systems.
• Proven experience testing both batch and online transaction environments.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments.
• Hands-on experience with ALM, Quality Center, or JIRA for test management and defect tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools for mainframe environments.
• Background in data migration or legacy system modernization projects.
