Description

You will ensure the quality and accuracy of mainframe-based systems supporting healthcare operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of Mainframe healthcare applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into test cases and scenarios.
• Execute functional, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate batch processing, online transactions, and data feeds including claims and eligibility data.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution while working with SMEs and developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Mainframe QA or Testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation tasks.
• Experience within the Healthcare domain (Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Member systems).
• Experience testing both batch and online transactions.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliant data handling.
• Experience operating in Agile or Waterfall environments.
• Experience using ALM, Quality Center, or JIRA.
