Description

You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle within a mainframe environment, focusing on automation and functional validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, script, execute, and debug test cases to ensure software meets design specifications.
• Build efficient automation modules and algorithms in TOSCA for regression, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Create, review, and approve comprehensive test plans and define testing objectives.
• Manage post-design scope changes and resolve issues throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor less experienced team members and teach automation processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in mainframe testing activities including planning, scripting, and reporting.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience using TOSCA within a mainframe environment.
• Deep knowledge of fintech applications, specifically debit/credit cards, payments, and networks.
• Proficiency in manual testing, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
• Working knowledge of Mainframe and associated languages.
• Ability to work on moderate to complex projects and recommend strategies for system improvement.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CICS, COBOL, DB2, and Assembler.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
