You will lead testing efforts for mainframe applications, focusing on job execution and data validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute mainframe jobs and conduct thorough validation of outputs.
• Analyze business and system requirements to inform testing strategies.
• Design, write, and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Perform System, Integration, and UAT testing on mainframe systems.
• Identify, log, and track defects within the defect management system.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe testing environments.
• Proficiency with COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with JCL.
• Working knowledge of DB2.
• Experience ensuring test case coverage and adherence to quality standards.
• Ability to interpret complex business and technical requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe testing automation.
