Description

You will execute end-to-end testing for mainframe-based applications and databases within the finance sector.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough use case creation and testing to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues within complex enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to conduct impact analysis and understand requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation to streamline and improve testing processes.
• Oversee the updating of testing strategies and mentor junior staff and peers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, 082, and SQL Stored Procedures.
• 4+ years of QA end-to-end testing experience in the finance industry, specifically with DTCK and SEC regulatory bodies.
• 7+ years using scheduling and mainframe tools such as Control-M, ChangeMan, FileAid, Startool, TOAD, and SPUFI.
• 2+ years of experience in the Brokerage and Settlements space.
• Proficiency with Messaging Queues, CICS, Easytrieve, Datacom, and SORT utilities.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools including JIRA and Rally.
• Strong ability to articulate enterprise-level systems and data flows.
• Proven capability in managing multiple priorities across geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in regulatory document processing.
