Description

Lead security initiatives for mainframe environments, ensuring compliance with z/OS hardening standards and vulnerability remediation protocols.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Guide security projects and manage asset modeling requirements for mainframe infrastructure.
• Interface with client staff to provide training and support for internal vulnerability and utility tools.
• Determine security standards for z/OS hardening, security controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Communicate technical requirements between mainframe engineering and information security teams.
• Apply ACF2, TSS, and RACF STIGs to support hardening efforts and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe security.
• Hands-on experience with ACF2, TSS, and RACF.
• Experience with z/OS hardening and vulnerability management.
• Ability to manage project documentation and technical entries.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with zSecure Audit.
• Background in z/OS security consulting or penetration testing.
