Description

You will engineer and maintain security solutions for the Enterprise Z Mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engineer support for MS Enterprise Z Mainframe Security products including CA/Broadcom-TSS, IBM-RACF, and IBM-ZSecure suite.
• Design and support mainframe initiatives covering encryption, authentication, and authorization using Kerberos and Digital Certificates.
• Develop technical solutions to business problems based on established security best practices.
• Develop automation, tooling, reports, utilities, and batch programs.
• Troubleshoot and track issue tickets with various external vendors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years related work experience on the mainframe.
• Experience configuring and understanding Mainframe security software, specifically Broadcom/CA-TSS.
• Proficiency in mainframe batch and reporting languages including C, JCL, and REXX.
• Experience with distributed technology such as UNIX and USS file systems.
• Familiarity with z/OS utilities and facilities including ISPF, TSO, SDSF, and JES.
• Experience with database technologies like Sybase, DB2, and SQL.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
