Description

Provide technical analysis and support for mainframe security within a large, complex Multi-LPAR RACF environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Consult on and participate in Information Security Engineering initiatives and large-scale planning deliverables.
• Analyze complex security engineering challenges involving variable factors and perform in-depth evaluations.
• Resolve technical issues by applying knowledge of security functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal personnel to meet security engineering objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of mainframe security risk assessment and remediation experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) experience with z/OS 2.1 or above.
• 5+ years of experience using native z/OS and RACF tools.
• 5+ years of experience issuing RACF commands and performing diagnostics.
• Experience with RRSF (RACF Remote Sharing Facility) and zSecure.
• Experience with RACF/DB2 and CICS.
• Ability to work in a Multi-LPAR environment.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience.
• 5+ years of TSO and zSecure tool experience.
