Description

You will manage and maintain the security posture of the mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage mainframe security using ACF2, RACF, or Top Secret.
• Develop and update security rules, user groups, and permissions.
• Handle SSL certificates, user re-certifications, and password resets.
• Test and document security upgrades.
• Respond to audits and compliance requests while troubleshooting security issues.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in ACF2 (RACF or Top Secret acceptable).
• Experience with z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, and JCL.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like TMON, Mainview, or OMEGAMON.
• Experience in large-scale financial or government environments.
• Bachelor’s in IT/security or 10+ years of mainframe security experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of COBOL, REXX, DB2, or IMS.
