Description

You will provide operational support and consultancy within mainframe environments. You will own the maintenance of existing systems and develop automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational tasks using TSO and ISPF interfaces.
• Develop and maintain simple REXX programs to automate workflows.
• Utilize JCL for operational requirements and job scheduling.
• Provide technical consultancy and support for mainframe systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe operations, support, or consultancy.
• Proficiency with TSO and ISPF for system interaction.
• Strong JCL skills for job control and execution.
• Ability to write and debug REXX programs.
• Experience with COBOL, PL/I, VSAM/QSAM, DB2, NetView, and Assembler.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate status.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SMP/E, RACF security, and IBM Z application development.
• Knowledge of competing products to IBM software.
