Description

You will develop and maintain software on Z/OS Mainframe environments using defined engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop software code and JCL following established engineering best practices.
• Analyze root causes for batch job failures and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate the impact of database schema changes on existing software components.
• Participate in peer reviews of project artifacts and maintain technical documentation.
• Research technical problems independently or collaboratively to provide solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, REXX, CLIST, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Z/OS Mainframe development and analysis.
• Proficiency in relational databases and DB2.
• Experience with non-relational mainframe storage technology.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java and Python.
• Knowledge of File Aid/RDX.
