Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications within the financial services sector, owning the full lifecycle from design to production support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute system integrated test plans to validate application functionality and accuracy.
• Implement new features, troubleshoot bugs, and support production incidents following Incident Management and SDLC policies.
• Conduct code reviews, merges, and design reviews with peers to ensure code quality.
• Inspect business specifications, coding standards, test plans, and documentation for precision.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding.
• Proficiency with CICS, JCL, MVS, and VSAM.
• Experience with mainframe change management tools.
• Knowledge of File Transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP).
• Experience with the Agile framework using Jira and Confluence.
• 7+ years of experience on large, enterprise-level programs within Financial Services.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to define and solve complex business problems using technical solutions.
• Ability to coach, train, and mentor other engineers.
• Fluent English communication (written and oral).
