Description

You will manage and optimize mainframe environments, focusing on commercial payment systems and multi-tier application architectures.

Responsibilities

• Assess mainframe workloads to identify optimization opportunities and propose technical solutions.
• Manage payment applications, specifically ACH and wire transfers, ensuring operational stability.
• Support multi-tier applications where the mainframe serves as a critical data layer.
• Provide architectural capabilities for customer workload assessment projects.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of Mainframe experience.
• Proficiency in commercial payments, specifically Pep+.
• Hands-on experience managing ACH and wire transfer applications.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency using Jira for task management.
• Experience with multi-tier application architectures.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Mainframe modernization project experience.
• Understanding of both mainframe and distributed application design.
• Mainframe consulting and architectural experience.
