Description
You will manage and maintain core systems within a mainframe environment, ensuring stability and performance across critical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application code using COBOL and JCL within MVS environments.
- Manage and optimize data structures using VSAM.
- Execute tasks within an Agile project delivery framework to meet sprint goals.
- Utilize DevOps tools to support and streamline system workflows.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues across multiple concurrent projects.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Mainframe z/OS.
- Proficiency in COBOL programming.
- Experience with JCL for job control and scheduling.
- Hands-on work with VSAM data management.
- Knowledge of MVS operating environments.
- Experience with CICS transaction processing.
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools.
- Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
