Description

You will manage and maintain core systems within a mainframe environment, ensuring stability and performance across critical workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application code using COBOL and JCL within MVS environments.
• Manage and optimize data structures using VSAM.
• Execute tasks within an Agile project delivery framework to meet sprint goals.
• Utilize DevOps tools to support and streamline system workflows.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues across multiple concurrent projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe z/OS.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming.
• Experience with JCL for job control and scheduling.
• Hands-on work with VSAM data management.
• Knowledge of MVS operating environments.
• Experience with CICS transaction processing.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools.
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
