Description

Lead storage administration for Tape and DASD environments within z/OS systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead storage refresh projects from planning and design through implementation.
• Execute coordination for storage deployments with minimal business disruption.
• Develop and manage back out procedures for all storage changes.
• Manage IBM storage environments within a z/OS operating system.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe storage administration.
• Hands-on experience with DFSMS and ICF Catalogs.
• Proficiency with ICKDSF and Backup and Restore utilities.
• Experience managing DASD - HDS (G5500, G1000).
• Knowledge of IBM Tape environments, specifically VTS and TS7700.
• Experience working within z/OS operating systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• HDS Storage expertise.
