Description

You will support and maintain mainframe operations within a dedicated team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mainframe batch job cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve failed or delayed batch jobs.
• Engage Application Development or Technical Support when job issues require escalation.
• Monitor job performance and CPU utilization.
• Identify and address long-running or stalled jobs using ServiceNow for request fulfillment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of technical experience in Systems Analysis and System Design.
• Proficiency with Mainframe batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with JCL and TSO.
• Experience with MQ, CICS, DB2, or IMS databases.
• Familiarity with Zeke Scheduling.
• Ability to collaborate with Application Development and Technical Support teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using ServiceNow for service request tracking.
