Description

You will provide technical support for mainframe systems and maintain system stability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve mainframe system issues.
• Perform routine maintenance including system upgrades, patches, and installations.
• Monitor system performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate mainframe systems with enterprise applications.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming.
• Strong understanding of CICS for transaction processing.
• Experience with JCL for batch processing and job scheduling.
• Knowledge of DB2 database management systems.
• Familiarity with z/OS operating systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
