Description

You will provide L1 and L2 technical support for mainframe applications and databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform L1 and L2 troubleshooting to resolve application issues reported by users.
• Monitor application performance and conduct routine maintenance checks.
• Document all support activities, solutions, and technical updates in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to identify and resolve bugs.
• Escalate complex technical issues to third-line support or development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in L1 / L2 support roles.
• Proficiency in IBM z/OS, COBOL, and JCL.
• Strong knowledge of CICS.
• Advanced DB2 SQL skills, including handling SQL error codes.
• Deep understanding of relational database concepts.
• Experience working within the US insurance industry.
• Degree in any graduate field.
