Description

This role provides specialized support and development for mainframe systems, owning production stability and end-to-end application delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for mainframe applications, resolving incidents and ensuring system availability.
• Execute end-to-end development cycles, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Manage multiple task assignments independently, prioritizing work to meet delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively within onshore/offshore models to align with global delivery standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in JCL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe production support and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Jira for task tracking and Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in distributed onshore/offshore team structures.
