Description

You will manage CICS/TS system operations, including RDO and base definitions, software installation, integration, and configuration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage CICS/TS system operations, RDO, base definitions, and software integration.
• Handle acceptance of application changes, new function evaluation, and DR testing procedures.
• Perform capacity planning, tuning, and monitoring of CICS/TS system performance.
• Manage disk storage using BMC/Innovation's FDR DASD management system (ABR, DSF, Compaktor, FDREPORT, FDRQUERY, FDRREORG) and SMS storage concepts.
• Evaluate EMC DASD array facilities, including replication, BCVs, and BIN file maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in CICS Systems Programming.
• Experience with CICS/TS installation, integration, and configuration.
• Proficiency in software installation and integration.
• Knowledge of mainframe disk storage management.
• Experience with BMC/Innovation's FDR DASD management system.
• Understanding of SMS storage concepts (ACS routines, Storage Groups, Storage Classes, Data Classes, Management Classes).

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in COBOL, Assembler, or REXX.
