Mainframe Support

You will provide production support and development for a large-scale mainframe environment managing thousands of programming objects and complex batch processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support intricate mainframe systems, including scoring calculations, certification, and personnel processing applications.
• Develop ad-hoc reports, data extracts, and processes using ADABAS/NATURAL and JCL.
• Manage hundreds of batch jobs across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual frequencies.
• Create functional and technical design documents based on business requirements.
• Communicate technical solutions and status updates to end users and leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development and technical support experience in Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency with ADABAS/NATURAL, JCL, TSO, and Mainframe Utilities.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle from requirements through production support.
• Strong technical understanding of data and technical database design.
• Ability to handle complex system interfaces and data exchanges.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Proven experience in mainframe application customization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL, SAS, REXX, CRM, or .NET.
• Experience in system and data mapping and conversion.
