You will support and optimize mainframe systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and tune configurations to optimize resource usage.
• Manage and optimize workloads running on the IBM mainframe system.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and develop effective solutions.
• Apply mainframe security protocols to protect sensitive data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe support.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and Assembler.
• Experience with database management systems, specifically DB2 and VSAM.
• Knowledge of mainframe security protocols, including RACF.
• Understanding of mainframe cryptography and data protection techniques.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex system behavior.
• Experience with Workload Management on IBM mainframe systems.
