Description

You will perform systems analysis and requirements gathering for mainframe-based trading systems, ensuring clear documentation of current and future state processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document system processes, identifying gaps and defining future-state workflows.
• Gather and refine system requirements using established analysis techniques.
• Design and implement SOAP/UI and REST API integrations for mainframe systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries against relational databases, specifically DB2.
• Navigate and analyze legacy mainframe environments to support system maintenance and evolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of core trading concepts and financial domain logic.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP/UI and REST API development and integration.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and managing data in DB2.
• Proven ability to navigate mainframe environments and perform deep technical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical details clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional mainframe technologies beyond the core stack.
