Description

You will develop, maintain, and support IBM mainframe systems software and extensions. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support IBM mainframe systems software and extensions.
• Code new programs and modify existing systems software to implement enhancements.
• Test all programs in Sandbox and Staging environments following standard guidelines.
• Research, resolve, and document incident reports and provide completion timelines.
• Document all program changes, modifications, and system updates.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Assembly / ALC / Assembler for IBM Mainframe system programming.
• Hands-on experience with Cobol 390, CICS, JCL, TSO, VSAM, and SQL DB2.
• Technical knowledge of IMS, HMC, HSM, Netview, and BMC Control-M environments.
• Experience using Xpediter for debugging.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and support of z/OS, DB2, IMS, CICS, and VTAM.
• At least 1 year of experience in full technical management of large-scale projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in code analysis, design, and debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Abend-Aid.
