Description

Manage z/OS operating systems, storage, and related systems software including databases, transaction servers, and security management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer z/OS, UNIX System Services, and associated software products.
• Manage mainframe upgrades and associated storage hardware installations.
• Provide production off-hour coverage and support weekend implementations.
• Administer security management and transaction servers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, and IOCP/HCD.
• Proven experience with VTAM and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe CPU installs as a systems programmer consultant.
• Proficiency with IBM utilities such as IDCAMS and IEFBR14.
• Working knowledge of IBM virtual tape systems and Unix System Services.
• Experience using monitoring tools like OMEGAMON.
• Experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
