Description

You will maintain and administer z/OS operating systems, UNIX System Services, storage hardware, and related enterprise software.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, and IOCP/HCD environments.
• Administer security management, transaction servers, and mainframe upgrades.
• Provide production support during off-hours and weekend implementations.
• Oversee mainframe CPU installs and storage hardware installations.
• Utilize IBM utilities like IDCAMS and IEFBR14 for data management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with z/OS and associated systems software.
• Proven expertise with VTAM and TCP/IP configurations.
• Hands-on experience as a systems programmer consultant for CPU installs.
• Proficiency with OMEGAMON for system monitoring.
• Working knowledge of IBM virtual tape systems and Unix System Services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide implementations.
