Description

You will manage z/OS mainframe environments, ensuring system integrity and performance. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure IBM mainframe hardware using HCD/HCM, LPAR, IOCP, and PARMLIB.
• Optimize system performance using RMF, SMF, OMEGAMON, and MainView.
• Administer RACF security and manage mainframe security protocols.
• Manage DFSMS, catalogs, and tape management systems.
• Automate workloads using IBM TWS or CA-7 schedulers.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Mainframe System Programmer (z/OS).
• Deep expertise in z/OS internals, JCL, ISPF, and SMP/E.
• Hands-on experience with JES2, RACF, VTAM, and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency in scripting with REXX and CLISTs.
• Experience with change and incident management processes (ITIL).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• z/VM installation and support experience.
• Disaster recovery planning and testing expertise.
• Experience with compliance and audit support processes.
