Description

You will manage and configure mainframe environments, ensuring system stability and efficient operations for development and production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain support environments for development and production mainframe systems.
• Automate configuration processes and operational tasks using REXX and existing toolsets.
• Troubleshoot mid-tier and infrastructure issues, analyzing root causes to implement fixes.
• Facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions with project teams.
• Document technical processes and support day-to-day mainframe requirements with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 5-10+ years of z/OS Systems Programming experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with MQ Series and MQ for z/OS.
• Proficiency with CICS Transaction Server (TS) for z/OS and CICS Webservices.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 for z/OS and Control-M for z/OS.
• Experience with IBM System Automation for z/OS and z/OSMF.
• Strong REXX programming and scripting skills for process automation.
• Deep understanding of Mainframe Systems methodology and frameworks.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of workflow management tools.
