Description

You will lead the migration of mainframe automation software from BMC Mainview AutoOperator to IBM Tivoli Automation on z/OS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate automation workflows from BMC AMI Ops to IBM Tivoli system automation.
• Develop automation for system IPL processes to manage system startup and shutdown.
• Build automated ticketing integrations between the mainframe and ServiceNow.
• Configure automated alerts and email notifications based on system exceptions.
• Implement state tracking to ensure systems return to correct configurations following a reboot.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe systems programming.
• Deep expertise in IBM Tivoli Automation.
• Hands-on experience with BMC Mainview AutoOperator or BMC AMI Ops.
• Proficiency with IMS, DB2, and MQ/WebSphere MQ.
• Experience automating CICS and Network environments.
• Knowledge of IWS/OPC/e scheduling integration.
• Ability to perform automated QA for DB2, IMS, MQ, and hardware subsystems.
