Description

Execute mainframe CPU installations and manage system components as a systems programmer consultant.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute mainframe CPU installs in a consultant capacity.
• Perform product installations using SMP/E and IBM utilities like IDCAMS and IEFBR14.
• Manage system components including JES2, TSO, and IOCP/HCD.
• Administer Unix System Services and IBM virtual tape systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience working with z/OS.
• Hands-on experience with VTAM and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency with JES2, SMP/E, TSO, and IOCP/HCD.
• Experience with IBM utilities such as IDCAMS and IEFBR14.
• Working knowledge of Unix System Services.
• Experience with IBM virtual tape systems.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of CICS, IMS, DB2, and AFP printing.
