Description

You will program and maintain critical mainframe systems, focusing on z/OS infrastructure and subsystem integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the CICS infrastructure, including region startup and resource management.
• Integrate and maintain subsystems such as DB2 and IMS.
• Manage configuration and operations using SMP/E, JCL, and core IBM utilities.
• Utilize monitoring tools (RMF, SMF, OMEGAMON) to troubleshoot system performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Mainframe Systems Programming.
• Expert knowledge of IBM z/OS and z/OS 3.1.
• Hands-on experience with z/OSMF v15, including REST APIs and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like REXX and JCL.
• Familiarity with security configurations, including RACF and MFA.
• Experience supporting core IBM utilities and system administration tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to zCX or container technology on z/OS.
