Description

You will maintain and support legacy mainframe systems and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify legacy systems primarily using Cobol.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for mainframe applications.
• Assist in requirements gathering for IT solutions.
• Manage system updates through established change management processes.
• Write technical documentation and monitor defect tracking logs to resolve problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe systems support.
• Proficiency in Cobol programming.
• Experience with project estimation and data capture tools.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to facilitate problem resolution through defect tracking.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Xgen, Algol, and Unisys.
