Description

You will manage mainframe system monitoring and troubleshooting during a night shift schedule.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage system alerts within the mainframe environment.
• Respond to, forward, and manage system alerts to ensure stability.
• Troubleshoot issues using COBOL, z/OS, and JCL.
• Perform night shift monitoring duties on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe systems support.
• Proficiency with z/OS, COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with CA7, CICS, and REXX.
• Experience using Control-M.
• Competency with monitoring tools such as DataDog or BigPanda.
• Knowledge of TIVOLI.
• Ability to work night shifts (between 6pm and 6am) including holidays.
• Residency in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, or West Virginia.
