Description

Lead the analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance of application software within a mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain application software using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, MQ, and CICS.
• Partner with senior developers and architects to design technical solutions and document requirements.
• Troubleshoot customer issues quickly and participate in 7x24 on-call system support on a shift basis.
• Support existing business systems and implement technical solutions based on defined requirements.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in mainframe development and implementation.
• Expert knowledge of COBOL, CICS, MVS, JCL, and VSAM.
• Proficiency with DB2 and MQ.
• Experience with IBM Mainframe Utilities and IT Service Management.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve customer issues.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the BFS domain or Application Modernization.
• Knowledge of Java.
